Every story needs a beginning. The story of Louisiana State Patrol Detective Cadillac Holland’s legend began with what should have been a simple fugitive case. It’s hard to find a man who doesn’t want to be found, and harder still when you have trouble telling the destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Katrina from the bombed out streets of Baghdad you left behind in the ambush that nearly took your life. Detective Holland is building a reputation for leaving a trail of unintended consequences in his path, but he will always get his man.
Every story must have a beginning and the story of State Police Detective Cooter Holland began with what should have been a simple fugitive arrest. Nothing is ever simple with Detective Holland.
Detective Holland lived a life of unintended consequences while working as an Intelligence operative tracking down terrorists. The Chief of Detectives has run out of detectives to pair with the difficult State Police detective he can’t get rid of, so he has just tasked Detective Holland to work solo to track down a murder suspect named Michael Ferris. Detective Holland continues giving him headaches by deciding he won’t bring the man to justice until he has personally decided what justice for the man’s crime actually is.
